Barber knocked out of game with bruised ribs



The Dallas Cowboys lost running back Marion Barber during the third quarter of Sunday’s 28-10 win over the Cleveland Browns with bruised ribs. NFL Network’s Derrin Horton reports that Barber had X-rays on the ribs, which came back negative.


Barber was taken to the locker room during the second half, after rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. He had five carries during the third quarter before leaving the game.
The Cowboys didn’t miss a beat with rookie Felix Jones leading the rushing attack. Jones rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
