Boston's pitching staff struck again. Veteran Curt Schilling held Colorado to four singles and two walks in 5 1/3 innings as the Red Sox took a 2-0 series lead over the Rockies. Colorado built a 1-0 lead after the first inning, but Boston's Mike Lowell drove in the tie-breaking run in the fifth as Boston held on for the win.
